Good book on statistics and SPSS

You are looking for a really good book for statistics or SPSS?
I think I can help you:

Last week I recommed my favorite book on SPSS & statistics to two friends of mine and now I’m doing this again for everyone else.

A really well written and understandable book on statistics using SPSS:

Discovering Statistics Using SPSS (Introducing Statistical Methods)

Andy Field.
Sage Publications Ltd 2009,
Paperback,
856 pages,
$59.76

There is also a companion website on which there is next to the table of contents, and the datasets and Powerpoints for lecturers.
For those who really want to spend some money, you can buy the hardcover version.

I am fine with the above-linked paperback edition.
It is suitable really excellent, as it is adressing different groups of readers, the one who dislike statistics and those who want to become Satans nect Personal Statistics Slave (SPSS) offering them additional information on SPSS as well as on statistics.
